M50, located at 50 Moganshan Road near Aomen Road and Chang Hua Road, is the seat of the growing contemporary arts scene in Shanghai. Originally built in 1937 as a site for factories and warehouses, M50 now contains over 40 galleries and art studios. The twocities gallery is located at the heart of M50, in building 0 on the second floor.
