Lacquer Artists
Jin Hui
Artist Statement
Fine art and design are two main streams in the academic arts setting today. Attention should be given to modern handcraft because it is a method that combines sense and reason. Modern handcraft can be seen as the third strong stream of academic art. The uniqueness of lacquer art lies within the whole process, including conception, technique and materials. The materials express my harmonic conception to modern art.
