Artist Statement
Embroidery Series: With its beautiful color, intricate weaving and long history, Chinese silk is admired for its fine craftsmanship around the world. Popular patterns comprised of flowers, birds and animals symbolize prosperity and happiness, conveying serenity and pursuit of an abundant life. My series uses the silk in jewelry. The silver geometric-shaped framework sets off the colorful and elegant silk and reveals the different patterns on both sides. This jewelry is versatile, able to suit your mood and style. Each piece is unique.
