Artist Statement
What I expect in art is “purity”. No specific features, signs or symbols. In my view, purity means peeling away the layers and releasing what is within. It is bringing light to the intrinsic quality hidden beneath. Purity also includes the pure language of the medium. Only with this unadulterated sense of instinct, shape, and pure object can we interpret our feelings about the world.
